Homepolish Interior Design | My initial idea was to go fully minimalist with a natural wabi sabi-inspired space, says Julia about her home design. My theory on minimalism, however, is that it tends to get expensive because if you only have three pieces of furniture in your home they better be top of the line. So instead of going that route, I ended up working around two existing pieces that I loved and that I knew I would hold on to, which were my hand-me-down Danish Midcentury nesting tables and CH88 dining chairs by Carl Hansen Son. Pieces that would never be trendy or passé.
